A Heart sometimes is a heavy burden It can weight down on your chest Not unlike a lump of burning iron Some say everything changes Though I consider that is mostly true I still can't help but to wonder How this truth applies to the heavy heart How will this heavy metal piece That lies in the middle of my chest Be able to undergo any kind of transformation When it feels so eternal Everlasting fire In the very core of my soul How to make that go away? Or else, how to transform it? I myself don't know I just wait Hoping that the fire ceases And that the weight lessen Vain hope, perhaps. But still, the only one I have.

There is a burning void inside my chest Nothing I do seems to make it go away Though I still hold back my tears My heart aches in such a way A painful way A dreadful way A lonely way And here I sit Powerless Locked away inside myself With no means to change The unstoppable course of things With a burning heart Desperate heart Fragile and weak heart Should I dare to hope?
